Used part of a set in a closet where there was no headroom for overhead light, placed the lights on the door frame inside the closet and the whole area was lit with a bright light in the entire closet area, I did install a second layer of double stick tape as the tape on the lights just does not seem to be durable enough to last for an extended period in an overhead applicaiton without releasing
In terms of light that emits and built quality - it's great - bright and close to dailight, the sticky tape on the other hand is crap.I mounted them under my cabinets after I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol - but they still keep peeling off in some spots, I would still order them again - just not count on the sticky tape to hold ...
These look like they're high quality and very nice warm color, I was hoping to use these as under cabinet lights but the wife didn't life the diffuse light they give on such an application, not an issue with this product in particular but I thought I'd mention it for those looking to use a light strip for this type of application

It provides a good amount of light for under the counter, make sure you order the correct power adapter, high Density utilizes more watts per foot since it has double the lights and therefore needs a heavier power adapter
